About Jeffrey Carrier

After being admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association in 2006, Jeffrey A. Carrier has spent his entire legal career primarily focusing on all matters related to family law, with an additional focus on estate planning, probates and successions, general civil litigation, and personal injury.  Mr. Carrier has the experience, knowledge, and compassionate temperament necessary to assist you in all of your legal needs, no matter the difficulty.

With respect to family law, he has successfully handled any and all cases related to divorce, custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, division of property, ex parte emergency custody, protective orders, relocations, and adoptions.

Mr. Carrier was born in Columbus, Mississippi, but moved soon thereafter to Lafayette, Louisiana, where he was raised. He attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, receiving All-American honors in soccer and graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Chemistry in 2003. In 2003, he enrolled in law school at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2006.

Licensed to practice in Louisiana, Mr. Carrier is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association, along with the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, and Southwest Louisiana Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section – Family Law Section.
