    Janet Hartman received her Juris Doctorate from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University where she concentrated her studies in the area of real estate, land use, and environmental law.  Ms. Hartman also holds Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees from the University of Florida.  Her educational background includes computer science and mathematics which provide the foundation for her ability to solve problems.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Hartman was a professor of computer science at Illinois State University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and is the author of numerous articles in computer science education.. 

    Janet Hartman is a member of the Martin County, Florida, and American Bar Associations, a member of the Justice Major B. Harding American Inns of Court, a member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and a member of the Real Property Council of Martin County.
