About Jan Costello

I pride myself on helping homeowners and buyers complete smooth real estate deals. Active in law for over 20 years, I specialize in residential real estate transactions.

A client-oriented real estate attorney, I assist in refinancing, buying and selling homes. I accommodate my clients’ busy schedules, use ALTA‘s (American Land Title Association) Best Practices to protect their security, and always follow up. My services include title searches, bank information, estate planning, zoning, wills, simple trusts, POAs (power of attorney) and probate work. I also do some commercial work.

I enjoy working with families, including young and elderly couples. I am knowledgeable about helping young couples connect with local banks in and around Darien. But I also have clients in New York City, and do pro bono work with Connecticut Legal Services. I apply outside-the-box thinking and ingenuity to help clients manage their aspirations.
