About James Epo

Attorney James F. Epo is a Houston-based attorney with over nineteen years of experience. He is a member of the Texas State Bar in the U.S. And also a licensed and admitted barrister/solicitor at law in Cameroon-Central Africa, which is part of the Economic Community of Central African States ( ECCAS) . He received a B.S in political science/legal studies at the University Houston, Texas – Clear Lakes, and a Juris Doctor (J.D) from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University, a historically black university. His expertise in the legal field covers wide areas spanning from Civil, Criminal, Family, Immigration & Administrative Law, Co-operate Law, Commercial Law, Mediation, Labor Law, E-Discovery, Compliance & Due Diligence.

Born of a Jamaican Mother and of a Cameroonian Father, Attorney James Epo’s background offers him a plethora of diverse views as well as the ability, to delve-in and settle more complex, legal disputes. He’s actively involved in both African and Caribbean communities and has also been recognized by the Katy Independent School District as a participating member of their BCIS II Cooperate Education Program. He seamlessly transcends his passion for sporting activities and the outdoors, into the court room, where he thrives as an attorney. As an esteemed mediator, with a reputation of working with clients of all background and ethnicities, he’s no stranger to fairness and proper due process. As a father, he draws inspiration from his children who give him a reason to vigorously represent each client, every day, with an unprecedented level of respect and sincerity.
