About Gerarda Rella

Ms. Rella was admitted to practice Law in New York in 1987 and began her career in Workers’ Compensation as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the NYC Law Dept. After honing her skills with the Law dept. Ms. Rella went to work for a defense firm where she remained until 1992. On April 9, 1992, Ms. Rella started the firm as a solo practitioner. Ms. Rella decided early on that working on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured employers were not fulfilling and thus dedicated her practice and career to pursuing the rights of Injured Workers exclusively. The firm has grown significantly since its humble beginnings. There are currently 7 attorneys and a support staff of 10. the practice has expanded to include Social Security Disability, NYCERS, NYSDR, WTC Victims Compensation Fund Benefits, GML 207-a & 207-c benefits.

Ms. Rella has lectured extensively on Workers’ Compensation Benefits. Her interests include hiking, biking, boating, horse back riding, and Pickleball. She currently resides in NY & Ct. and has 3 children.
