About George Svoboda

I started my career solving problems.

Before I opened The Law Office of George W. Svoboda, I spent several decades as a management and strategy consultant with some of the most prestigious consulting firms in the world, including Deloitte and Booz & Company.

I got to see the inner operations, the strategies, the day-to-day challenges, and successes of every type of company from family-owned businesses to major, publicly traded corporations. I had an inside-baseball view of the way things really work – a view that very few attorneys ever see.

One thing about a management consultant’s job – I was always up to date on the latest technological advances, the ones that made our clients’ businesses successful.

I decided to use my experience and knowledge to bring cutting edge, high quality, creative legal advice, and solutions to the law. And, of course, Illinois businesses and their Owners.

Now, my sole focus is on your business. I use everything technology has to offer to have more time to spend with you, more time to understand your goals and needs. I

know what business owners and entrepreneurs need.

I know what makes a business successful. Moreover, and just as importantly, I know what it takes to keep a business successful through every stage of its development.

My team and I are confident that our unique experiences and civil law focus will be the asset that puts your business over the top.

When I’m not helping fellow Illinois business owners, I boat, fish, and get to Key West when I can. Most of the time, though, particularly during Northern Illinois winters, I collect and run ‘toy’ trains. My specialty, if I had to cite one, is pre-WWI trains. They are big, works of engineering art and, considering the era, you took your life in your hands every time you plugged in the power.
