About Fredric Abramson
As a business and technology lawyer with over 30 years of practical business expertise, I possess the necessary skills to tackle your legal challenges. I have a particular understanding of technology businesses, having begun my career producing records and organizing rock ‘n roll shows in Philadelphia and New York. I also managed the record and appliance departments at Bargain City, one of the first big box stores. Additionally, I have experience writing computer code for big data systems and artificial intelligence.
My educational background includes being an MIT Sloan Fellow and holding a Ph.D. in Human Genetics & Population Planning from Michigan. I have been teaching in the Johns Hopkins biotechnology master’s program since 1996. My legal experience includes working internationally in copyright, trademark, and business contracts.
Furthermore, I am admitted to the Maryland and D.C. Bars, the Maryland Federal District Court, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Patent Office.
