About Eric Stone
Retired Marine, Eric B. Stone understands military, family, and criminal law. As a judge advocate general, he defended cases involving courts-martial criminal offenses, Article 32, and command investigations, and handled other military law matters including AWOL and desertion, security clearance revocation, and Article 15s. As a lawyer in the area around Stafford, he manages local cases involving DUI, assault, harassment, juvenile offenses, and child custody matters.
Eric received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University in 1986 and his Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law. He also is a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming. Eric served as a judge at the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals from 2005 to 2007. He is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia and in Virginia and is admitted to the U. S. Supreme Court.
