About Elizabeth Douglas

Elizabeth A. Douglas, Esq. is a sharp, driven, and competent litigator who represents families throughout New York and Connecticut. Ms. Douglas is also a certified mediator and has been selected to the Rising Stars list in 2014, 2015, and 2016 and selected to the Super Lawyers list in 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Ms. Douglas serves on the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s family law section, and is a co-chair of the surrogacy, family court, domestic violence, and diversity committees. She is also a member of the America Bar Association’s family law section, Westchester County Bar Association, New York County Lawyers Association, Fairfield County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Additionally, Ms. Douglas was listed in Westchester Magazine’s spotlight section entitled “Faces of Westchester.” Ms. Douglas judges statewide moot court and mock trial competitions in both New York and Connecticut. She also serves as a guest lecturer at local schools and community groups. In her spare time, Ms. Douglas enjoys traveling, cycling, rock climbing, snowboarding, writing and gourmet cooking.

Prior to opening her own law firm, Ms. Douglas worked at several prominent defense firms where she was able to learn the intricacies of Civil Litigation. She graduated cum laude from the University of Miami and went on to earn her Juris Doctorate at Pace Law School.
