About Greg Evans
Greg has practiced family law exclusively since 1998 and keenly understands the human impact of family difficulties, including and beyond legal issues. He has extensive experience using collaborative law and knows that avoiding the courts by coming to a mutual legal agreement offers the most satisfying resolution for many families. He is also a mediator and arbitrator.
Greg is a founding member of Collaborative Practice Manitoba, where he has served as chair and member of its management committee and is currently one of its Trainers.
From 2006 to 2019, Greg taught Clinical Family Law at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law, where he continues to be a frequent guest speaker.
Other pursuits
Greg is an American Sign Language and spoken English interpreter and interpreter educator. He has served the deaf community nationally and internationally for more than three decades.
As part of his commitment to improving wellness and mental health in the legal profession, Greg serves as the co-chair of Law(yer) Strong, a peer support program founded to enhance the immediate and long-term well-being of the legal community
