About David Dueck
David is a member of the Competition, Antitrust & Foreign Investment group at Blakes. David’s practice focuses on advising clients on all aspects of competition law, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, marketing and distribution practices, criminal and civil investigations, and compliance matters. He also advises on foreign investment merger review under the Investment Canada Act. David has advised clients in a wide range of sectors, including consumer goods, energy, communications, financial services, chemicals, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and transportation.
David’s competition law practice is complemented by a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. In addition, David is Chair of the Economics and Law Committee of the Canadian Bar Association’s National Competition Law Section.
