About Dan Scott

C. Dan Scott began practicing law in April of 1983 after graduating from the University of Tennessee summa cum laude. He graduated No. 1 in his law school class from the George C. Taylor School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mr. Scott is a member of the American Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Tennessee Bar Association, American and Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the Sevier County Bar Association.

For over 35 years Mr. Scott has helped individuals and businesses solve the conflict through negotiation and by litigation through the court system.

Additionally, a large portion of his time is spent assisting in real estate development, the closing of residential and commercial transactions, as well as assisting several banks with loan closings.

Mr. Scott is admitted to practice in all courts including the Tennessee Supreme Court and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Scott is enjoying over 44 years of marriage to the love of his life. For fun, Dan travels to beaches and enjoys riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
