About Corey MacDonald

After a successful tenure as the Portsmouth city prosecutor, Corey MacDonald founded MacDonald Law, PC in 2005. With experience handling a wide variety of cases at both the misdemeanor and felony level, Attorney MacDonald’s career in law began part-time while he served in law enforcement for over 18 years. He worked his way up through the ranks from police officer to detective and then to Deputy Chief of Police of a 115-person department.

Attorney MacDonald’s unique background and blend of courtroom and boardroom experience allow him to provide clients with comprehensive counsel on complex legal issues. As a criminal defense attorney, he offers solutions that may not typically be available from transactional attorneys. Attorney MacDonald is licensed to practice law in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Colorado, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
