About Christopher Zampogna

As the founding member of Zampogna, PC, I will take special interest in all your legal matters my office handles for you.

​I have been in practice of law since 1992 beginning mycareer as a law clerk for a Superior Court Judge in Ft. Wayne Indiana; then returned to his hometown, Buffalo, New York, to work for a general practice law firm; joined the Erie County, New York prosecutor’s office as an Assistant District Attorney, successfully prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases; left for the private sector to join a Western New York law firm, as a senior associate, and developed their employment law section; moved to Washington DC to join a franchise and commercial litigation law firm; and subsequently formed Zampogna, P.C. in Washington, DC in 2001.

​The practice has focused on litigation including appeals in the civil and criminal courts. However, he has also conducted many mediations and arbitrations in securities disputes or investor rights. He has brought cases before FINRA in arbitration forums. He lectures on ADR topics and published a white paper on ADR comparison between US and an International NGO in the employment context. He is past President of the DC Bar Association and is editor in chief of its Publication, The Journal of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia (www.badc.org). He is a member of the International Law Committee of the ABA.
