About Christine Hunt

Christine is an attorney who advocates for individuals, couples, children, and families in an array of legal areas in the Chicago area. She believes most issues can be resolved amicably and civilly, but is prepared to vigorously fight for her clients when necessary.   

She graduated from The John Marshall Law School (now known as UIC John Marshall) where she received her Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Trial Advocacy. She received a Bachelor of Science in Crime, Law, and Justice and a minor in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University.

Christine provides volunteer assistance to UIC’s Pro Bono Legal Clinic including guest lecturing each semester. Christine was the acting director at The John Marshall Law School’s Family and Domestic Violence Legal Clinic when it closed in May 2020. She was a contract attorney and legal assistant for The Law Office of Quentin Banks who focused on criminal law and The Law Office of Andrea Bonds who focused on criminal law, family law, and personal injury. She clerked for the Honorable Judge Pamela Loza in the Domestic Relations Division and Parentage and Child Support Court. In law school she also gained experience with the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, The Fair Housing Clinic, and the Public Defender’s Office at both the trial and appellate level.  

Christine is actively engaged with the community and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association YLD Committee, is a board member for South Loop Neighbors, and board member for her Home Owners’ Association.
