Christine E. Baur is the owner of the Law Office of Christine E. Baur, founded in 2009. Ms. Baur focuses her practice in the areas of commercial bankruptcy, insolvency counseling, financial restructuring and creditors’ rights. Ms. Baur represents debtors, lenders, principals, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees, equity committees, acquirers of distressed assets, trustees and other parties-in-interest in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in California, New York, Delaware and across the country. Ms. Baur also advises and represents companies in out of court restructurings and in Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings. Ms. Baur’s experience encompasses a wide array of industries including retail, real estate, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, medical, insurance, restaurant and construction. Ms. Baur was previously a partner at Baker & McKenzie LLP, where she was a member of its Financial Restructuring, Creditors’ Rights, and Bankruptcy Practice Group.
