About Charles Cox

Charlie Cox focuses his practice on complex litigation and intellectual property litigation matters in the life sciences, communications and consumer goods sectors. He has represented clients in cases before district courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Cox was an intellectual property litigation associate and summer associate at a large firm in Washington DC, and he completed externships with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the NASA Langley Research Center. He also interned with the Office of Legal and Governmental Affairs for the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and was a paralegal at a Virginia law firm, where he worked on a six-week trade secrets trial resulting in a favorable $920 million verdict and managed a large trademark portfolio.
