About Charles Balistreri

After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in sociology, Charles M. Balistreri received his J.D. from New York Law School in 1977. The following year he was admitted to practice in the State of New York and joined the firm of Anes, Friedman, Leventhal & Rubin as an associate. He was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and the United States Court of Federal Claims in 1993 and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in 1996. Upon the dissolution of Anes, Friedman, Leventhal & Rubin in 2000, Mr. Balistreri established Anes, Friedman, Leventhal & Balistreri (AFLB Law) with himself as managing counsel. A member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association, he is a former director—and currently an Honorary Director—of the New York Law School Alumni Association.
