About Bryan Brooks

Bryan began his second career as an attorney in 2009 after working for seven years as a newspaper reporter in Tennessee and Georgia. 

Early in his legal career, Bryan primarily represented businesses in contract-based litigation.  He then followed his desire to help people — the same desire that initially led him to print journalism — and he began representing individuals seeking compensation from insurance companies for injuries caused by negligence.  

As a newspaper reporter, Bryan won several awards, including the highest award for investigative journalism in Tennessee.  After graduating from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta in 2009, Bryan over the course of three days took the Georgia bar exam in Atlanta and the Tennessee bar exam in Nashville and passed both.  He is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Tennessee.

Bryan was selected by other attorneys for the 2016, 2017, and 2018 Georgia Rising Stars list published annually in Super Lawyers magazine and Atlanta Magazine. Each year no more than 2.5% of lawyers in Georgia are chosen for the list.

When not working, Bryan spends time with his wife and two small children, he roots for the Atlanta Braves baseball team, and in the summer he tends to his vegetable garden.  Bryan and his family attend Peachtree Corners Baptist Church.
