About Brian Mcewing
Brian is partner in the firm and brings to the practice of law over
thirty years’ experience as a mariner, twenty years as a licensed
officer, and fifteen years in marine management positions, including
Port Captain. He holds USCG licenses as Master Inland water any
gross tons, Master Oceans 1600 gross tons, 2nd Mate Oceans and
First-Class Pilot upon the Delaware Bay any gross tons.
He has extensive practical experience in marine safety and operations,
regulatory compliance, employment issues and collective bargaining.
He advises a number of small and mid-size companies as outside
general counsel on contract and employment matters and has tried
cases around the country, to both the jury and the bench.
Brian received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Rutgers University where he
graduated summa cum laude, earning the Jack Marvin Weiner award and the Armitage Award for
highest overall grade average. He earned his law degree at Rutgers School of Law – Camden in

Adelsberger & Associates, P.C. in Glenside, PA.
He has appeared on behalf of clients in Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Massachusetts, New
York, Maryland and Delaware.
