About Bret Moore
Bret Moore focuses his practice on representing individuals against wealthy corporations and powerful lawyers, in both trials and appeals. Bret has successfully represented plaintiffs and appellants in personal injury and professional malpractice cases and focuses his practice on those areas.
After graduating from college, Bret was a geologist and environmental consultant for about five years before going to law school. After graduating early from law school, Bret began his career in-house in the litigation department at a large financial services firm during the height of the recession, and quickly gained significant experience in negotiating and resolving securities-related complaints. Bret started his own firm in 2011, and very early on focused his practice on the representation of individuals who have suffered a personal injury or professional malpractice, especially legal malpractice. Between 2014 and 2018, Bret was a partner in a small firm focused primarily on legal malpractice and State Bar of Georgia disciplinary defense matters.
Bret joined Broughton Law in 2019 and has appeared as lead counsel in several trials and appeals. He practices in all courts in Georgia, including federal court in the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, as well as state courts in Alabama. Bret continues to focus on jury trials and appeals in personal injury and legal malpractice cases.
