About Benjamin Jewell

Benjamin Jewell was raised in Branch County for most of his life. He is a graduate of Bronson Jr./Sr. High School and Trine (Tri-State) University in Angola, Indiana where he graduated with honors from the Criminal Justice and Psychology program. He attended law school at Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he graduated with honors. While in law school, Attorney Jewell was a member of many organizations including the Delta Theta Phi Law fraternity. He also was a mock trial coach for Eastern Michigan University while serving as a research assistant to one of his professors.

After law school, Attorney Jewell knew he wanted to move back to Branch County and give back to the community that helped spring board him to success. He opened a law practice on Monroe Street in Coldwater and practices in many areas of the law including: bankruptcy law, family law, estate planning and criminal law.

Attorney Jewell is currently the President of the Branch County Library Board and Vice-President of the Coldwater Band Boosters. In the past, he has served on the board for the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and was a member of the Coldwater Kiwanis.

Attorney Jewell currently resides in Coldwater with his wife Katherine and their two dogs. Katherine is the Director of Bands for Coldwater High School and Lakeland Elementary.
