About Audra Hornig

Audra Hornig served as a Senior Associate in the Bronx DA’s office where she prosecuted high-level felons for eight years. Subsequently, she served as General and Compliance Counsel for some of New York’s largest Mortgage Lenders. She oversaw all legal matters and was responsible for all areas of compliance, including writing and implementing compliant Dodd-Frank policies and procedures. Ms. Hornig was responsible for federal and state banking audits, as well as training and licensing loan originators.

After honing her skills for 16 years working in compliance, Ms. Hornig departed the residential mortgage industry and joined the Law Offices of Lawrence Andelsman, P.C. as a senior associate. Ms. Hornig handles private and commercial lending transactions for the firm. She also provides general counsel to private and non-bank lenders in the areas of compliance, regulation and general corporate matters.

Ms. Hornig graduated from George Washington University in 1990 and Brooklyn Law School in 1993. She is a member of both New York and New Jersey Bar Associations.
