About Andrew Macarthur
Andrew MacArthur applies his unique technical background, which includes prior experience in developing source code and studies in engineering, to identify and resolve core aspects early in intellectual property litigation and transactions. Andrew has enforced IP rights and defended accused infringers in federal courts and before the International Trade Commission, from inception through trial and to appeal. This includes conducting direct and cross-examination of fact and expert witnesses at multiple trials, analyzing complex C++ and Java source code, and drafting post-trial and appeal briefs. He has litigated technologies involving streaming media, software, liquid crystal displays, telecommunications, databases, and others.
Andrew also conducts due diligence on IP for corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and venture capital transactions. He has advised companies on transactions involving artificial intelligence, ad tech, telecommunications, and medical devices, among others.
