About Andrew Jones
Drew Jones helps public entities and quasi-public entities acquire the property they need to maintain and augment infrastructure. He has represented diverse entities throughout the State of California, including on projects for cities, school districts, and public utility companies. Drew has also represented individual property owners in eminent domain litigation.
Drew has particular experience assisting clients with eminent domain acquisition of fee and easement interests, resolving matters through prelitigation negotiation when possible and also through litigation when necessary. He regularly works with public utilities to obtain multiple easements for large transmission line projects.
In addition to eminent domain and related issues, Drew handles a variety of other real estate transactions and disputes, such as inverse condemnation, helping homeowners with property line conflicts and other related litigation. Drew also has experience in utility defense work.
Drew received his undergraduate degree at Princeton University, where he was a four-year letterman for Men’s Water Polo and a four-time Academic All-America honoree. Drew obtained his law degree at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and served on the Entertainment Law Review.
