Alex “Trey” Robertson, IV has spent more than 33 years specializing in multi-party complex consumer litigation in both state and federal courts, including class actions, multidistrict and JCCP litigation. Among Mr. Robertson’s national case include: In Re Lumber Liquidators Chinese Manufactured Laminate Flooring Durability Marketing And Sales Practices Litigation; In Re FieldTurf Artificial Turf Marketing And Sales Practices Litigation; In Re CityCenter Master Construction And Lien Litigation and Smith v. Floor & Décor Outlets of America.
Currently, he serves as the court-appointed Co-Lead Counsel for thousands of Individual Plaintiffs in the Woolsey Fire Case, JCCP No. 5000, and is a member of the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee in Southern California Fire Cases, JCCP No. 4965. Mr. Robertson currently represents approximately 1,700 clients suing Southern California Edison Company in both wildfire cases.
Alex has handled numerous high profile cases, including those for Ed McMahon, Erin Brockovich, Ted Nugent, Vin Scully and other celebrities, professional athletes and public figures. Many of his cases have been featured in local and national media, including CBS News “48 Hours” (twice), CBS News “The Early Show”, ABC News ‘Prime Time Live”, NBC News “Today Show”, New York Times Sunday Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, ABA Journal, Forbes Magazine and CNN’s “Lou Dobbs” show.
