About Alayne Katz

Alayne Katz is a family and matrimonial attorney in private practice in Westchester County. Her practice is varied as it includes the representation of adults, children and child welfare agencies and the processes of mediation, collaborative law and litigation. The Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, two County Executives and numerous N.Y.S. and Federal legislators have recognized her contributions to families and children spanning more than two decades.

In addition to her private practice, Ms. Katz has been actively involved in professional and community organizations, serving on boards and chairing several committees. She has also represented the Westchester Women’s Bar Association in numerous committees with other bar associations, the judiciary and other professional organizations in a continuing effort to improve justice for children and families.

Ms. Katz is the founder of Gail’s Fund, established in memory of her sister, who was a victim of fatal domestic violence. Gail’s Fund supports the Pace Women’s Justice Center’s efforts to promote justice for women and families and eradicate domestic violence.
