About Adria Hillman

Our founding partner, Adria S. Hillman has built her firm with vision and purpose. Through her many years of experience and by continually refining her courtroom knowledge and experience, Adria provides her clients with unparalleled representation in areas of law that impact peoples lives the most. Adria considers her brand to be synonymous with the excellence in service her team provides. As such, Adria has worked to ensure that strong client communication and providing each client with visibility into all proceedings are the cornerstones of her firms services. In addition, Adria is committed to ensuring each client’s experience is special, unique, and impactful.

Adria’s list of educational and professional achievements started at an early age. In 1963 Adria attended Bennington College in Bennington, VT where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in both history and psychology. Adria was recognized for outstanding achievement and awarded the prestigious Jessie Smith Noyes Scholarship. Shortly after graduating from Bennington, Adria began her journey into the legal profession. Adria was then admitted in 1967 the New York University School of Law where she graduated with her Juris Doctor degree and quickly began practicing her trade. After completing her studies she began work as an associate attorney with Richard G. Green. Adria quickly found herself as a rising star in the legal profession.

In 1976, Adria joined strengths with Richard and began a legal partnership, Green & Hillman where she worked for 15 years before setting off to start her own firm, Adria S. Hillman, Attorney at Law, P.C., and shifting her entire focus to family law. Through today, Adria and her team continue to focus on family law litigation and specialize in high-asset and high-net-worth divorce, child custody and family law.
