About Christine Delapp
Christine DeLapp graduated in the top of her class from the University of California, Irvine, with a B.A. in
criminology and law. While in college, she began working in family law at the Legal Aid Society, a non-profit law firm that provides free legal services to those in need. During Law School she was honored with multiple awards and scholarships for outstanding academic performance, and served as an editor on both Law Review and the International Journal. Mrs. DeLapp received her juris doctor from California Western School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude..
Mrs. DeLapp’s first job as an associate was in family law, which she practiced for five years before obtaining a Master of Laws in taxation from the University of San Diego, graduating with honors. She practiced tax law for a year and a half before moving on to complex securities litigation at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd. Mrs. DeLapp also worked at the USD tax clinic
representing pro-bono clients with their tax related issues. During this time, Mrs. DeLapp continued to represent clients in both civil litigation and family law.
Returning to her roots, and once again focusing on family law, she brings her knowledge of tax and corporate law, along with a wealth of experience from over ten years of practicing law in the state of California to the Law Offices of David Beavans. Because of her strong financial background and experience, Mrs. DeLapp primarily handles high-net-worth divorce cases.
Mrs. DeLapp is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar
Association. She is licensed to practice before all California courts, the United States Tax Court, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
