About Mark Harris
Mr. Harris graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1981, and from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1984, where he was a member of the Law Review. His legal practice started in Kansas City, Missouri, where he worked for 18 years prior to relocating to Colorado and joining TAM in 2003.
Mr. Harris’ litigation practice focuses on the defense of civil cases. His practice has included an emphasis on the defense of product liability, personal injury, premises liability, professional liability, property damage, construction defect, and insurance coverage and bad faith cases.
Mr. Harris is admitted to practice in the states of Colorado and Missouri. His practice has involved both trial and appellate litigation in federal and state courts in Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wyoming.
Mr. Harris’ construction defect experience includes representing owners/developers, architects, civil, geotechnical, and structural engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors in residential and commercial property defect cases.
Mr. Harris’ personal injury defense practice includes wrongful death cases, catastrophic injury and disability, burns, and all manner of orthopedic and neurological injury cases.
Mr. Harris’ professional liability practice has included the defense of numerous cases involving medical professionals, psychotherapists, licensed clinical social workers, architects, engineers, insurance agents, and financial planners arising out of their respective professional licenses and duties.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute, the Missouri Bar, and the Propane Gas Defense Association.
