About Mark Dost
Mark works with individuals and families, providing a full range of estate planning services. The Trusts and Estates Practice Group at Tinley, Renehan & Dost focuses on avoidance and deferral of death taxes and other transfer taxes, on gift and estate planning, on the preparation of simple and sophisticated wills and trusts, and on Medicaid and long-term care issues.
The Trusts and Estates Practice Group represents trusts, estates and the beneficiaries thereof at probate hearings and prepares estate, inheritance and income tax returns, as well as probate accountings.
Other practice areas within the Practice Group include family law, incapacity, and conservatorships.
Mark is admitted to practice before State and Federal Courts in Connecticut and the United States Tax Court. His practice is primarily devoted to the areas of estate planning, probate and taxes. These areas encompass gift planning, preparation of wills and trusts, administration of trusts, planning for long-term care and Medicaid qualification, settlement of estates in the probate courts, and representation in audits and proceedings before the Internal Revenue Service, the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, and State and Federal Courts.
