About Charity Hyde

Charity C. Hyde is the managing attorney of the firm’s Northeast offices operating as Perez Morris Hyde. Her core practice focuses on aviation and environmental/toxic tort litigation, product liability, premises liability, insurance fraud investigation, and motor vehicle liability. Charity has over a decade of experience in leading multi-attorney teams and representing commercial entities, retailers, restaurants, food manufacturers, municipalities and large manufacturing clients in complex, high-exposure, multi-district litigation.

Her extensive defense litigation expertise spanning over 22 years includes arbitrations, mediations, as well as trying bench and jury trials successfully to verdict; most frequently with respect to the investigation and prosecution of professionals and other individuals for submitting fraudulent insurance claims. Charity also served as national coordinating counsel for a large, international manufacturing company for over a decade.

Prior to joining the firm, Charity was an equity partner at a large Philadelphia-based litigation firm. Before entering private practice, she was a law clerk to the Honorable Arnold L. New of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and also served as a legal intern in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Charity is an active champion of diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and within her community. Charity lives in Philadelphia with her husband Matthew, and also enjoys spending time at their second home in Anguilla, BWI.
