About Thaddeus Schurter

Thad concentrates his practice in construction law and litigation. He has experience representing design professionals, contractors, trade contractors, and owners in a wide variety of construction disputes including construction and design defect claims, professional liability claims, mechanic’s liens, and surety bond claims. He also assists clients with risk management and contract drafting / negotiation.

Thad has represented clients in cases involving structural and building envelope failures, fire and explosions, design defects, construction defects, job site accidents, personal injury, and wrongful death.

Thad was recognized as an Indiana Super Lawyer Rising Star for construction litigation in the State of Indiana from 2017 to 2020 and in the states of Missouri and Kansas in 2014 and 2015.

Thad worked in the construction industry for 10 years before becoming an attorney. He brings exceptional insight and technical experience to the table for his clients.
