About James Berg

Jim Berg is a civil trial lawyer, with extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants since he began practicing law in 1977.  He is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and an associate member of the American Bar of Trial Advocates. He has tried civil cases in Yakima, Benton, Klickitat, Chelan, Clallam and Island County Superior Courts, as well as the United States District Court for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington. In addition, Mr. Berg has argued before the Washington Court of Appeals, the Washington Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His trial experience spans many fields, including insurance defense and coverage, personal injury, premises liability, breach of contract, agriculture, business, and estate disputes.
