Andrew Auderieth
About Andrew Auderieth
Andrew began his career at the firm in May, 2017 as a law clerk and after being sworn to the bar in September, 2018, now serves clients as an attorney.
Andrew has a long history of working in and with technology companies. Andrew founded and ran one of the world’s first website hosting companies for more than two decades so he brings to client’s hands-on expertise from a variety of technology businesses. He has been involved in companies that worked on computer networking, architecture, client server- software, e-commerce systems, VOIP and other Internet and telecommunications technologies.
This unique background allows Andrew to form a deep connection with clients regardless of the life cycle of their own enterprise. Beyond patent prosecution, Andrew understands from a client’s perspective other intellectual property concerns such as licensing deals or valuing a portfolio of IP assets.
His approach to client service remains remarkably simple and unchanged as he has changed careers: Ensure that client goals are met on time and on budget.
When he’s not pouring over the designs a client wants to patent, Andrew likes playing Ultimate Frisbee. But his greatest pleasure is enjoying the success of his two in school and on the soccer field, and co-coaching a Mitchell Hamline School of Law team in the annual International Patent Drafting Competition.
