About Matthew Enger

Matthew L. Enger earned his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN, graduating cum laude in May of 2014. After previously working with Thomason, Swanson & Zahn as a law clerk for two summers, Matt was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 2014 and joined the firm as an associate attorney. Matt has quickly gained a large amount of courtroom experience, particularly in his primary practice areas of divorce, child custody, and civil litigation. Matt also handles matters in the areas of landlord/tenant, collections, criminal defense, child protection, civil commitments, guardianships, business formation, and estate planning. Matt is a 2011 graduate of Concordia College/Moorhead, where he double-majored in Political Science and History. He grew up on a farm near Madison, MN and currently lives in Detroit Lakes with his wife and three children. Matt continues to play for his home town’s amateur baseball team. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with family at his wife’s cabin on Potato Lake.
