About David York

Mr. York has been practicing law in courts in Alabama and Georgia since 1990. As the former United States Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama, a state prosecutor in both Georgia and Alabama, and a civil litigator in Alabama, Mr. York brings a wealth of practical trial experience to the courtroom.

Mr. York was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Qui Tam law for his work representing whistleblowers.

Mr. York is also a Registered Mediator, on the Alabama State Court Mediation Roster.

His mediation practice encompasses; divorce & family matters, including cases involving domestic violence; all civil matters; and his experience litigating Qui Tam / whistleblower cases, has him uniquely situated to mediate these matters as well.

Mr. York is 1989 graduate of Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and a 1985 graduate of Birmingham-Southern College. Mr. York is licensed to practice in all courts in Alabama and Georgia.
