Shannon Skinner is a practice area leader for the firms global real estate practice. Shannon’s practice centers on commercial real estate and financing transactions. Her experience includes the acquisition, disposition and financing (construction and permanent) of office buildings, industrial properties, retail centers, hotels and mixed use developments. She represents companies in the acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of their real estate holdings. She has worked on a wide range of matters, including data center developments, complex redevelopment projects and multi-state portfolio transactions. Her practice includes leasing, representing landlords and tenants in leasing office and other property types, as well as build to suit projects. She has represented many lenders in making permanent and construction loans, including multi-lender facilities and developing lending policies and forms. The restructure, workout and exercise of remedies for troubled loans is also a part of her practice. In addition, she has significant experience in public/private developments that are key to urban renewal projects.
