About Brian Rider
Brian Rider has been a Schlosser Development Corporation (SDC) confidante and attorney for more than 20 years. He is a graduate of Rice University (B.A. 1969) and a 1972 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. In 1983, he was certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Commercial Real Estate Law. He has represented developers of office buildings, shopping centers, subdivisions, and other projects in the acquisition, development, construction, and leasing of properties. He is also an authority in the area of environmental law and its impact on owners of commercial property.
Brian is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, a past Chair of the County Bar Real Estate Section and a past member of the Council (the Board of Directors) of the State Bar of Texas Real Estate and Probate Section.
In addition to his private practice, Brian has taught real estate law courses as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Texas School of Law for 18 years.
