About Brian Craig

After representing insurance companies for over thirty years, in February 2012, Attorney Blair Craig joined his son, Attorney Brian Craig, at the law firm of Wood Craig & Avery to represent those seriously injured from the negligence of others. Blair has tried over 250 automobile accident cases to verdict and handled thousands of other cases through litigation. During his tenure as a preeminent defense attorney, Blair worked for one of the top insurance defense firms in Atlanta which bore his name and which he co-founded. Even though his former firm was considered an insurance defense firm, Blair handled select plaintiff’s cases throughout his career. In doing so, Blair has obtained significant experience on both the plaintiff and defense side. That perspective allows Blair to apply his know-how to cases involving seriously injured persons through settlement, at trial, or even on appeal.

Blair has for many years held been awarded the AV® Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, which rates attorneys both on their legal skill and integrity-ethics. Due to excellent verdict and settlement results in the area of personal injury, Blair has been selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers® list, signifying that he is one of the top 5% of lawyers in the state of Georgia.
