About Bradley Schmidt

I have been a lawyer for over 30 years. I grew up in Willmar, Minnesota and went to college at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. I graduated in 1983 with a double major in accounting and French. I worked for an accounting firm and became a certified public accountant in 1985, and graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1988.

My accounting background has provided an added benefit to my skills as a lawyer, giving me added knowledge about financial and tax matters. My practice has developed into three primary areas: wills/estate planning, real estate law, and business law.  I am a Certified Real Property Specialist through the Minnesota State Bar Association.

I have handled many multi-million dollar transactions and estates. I work hard to complete matters in an efficient manner, but pay attention to the details. I also service many basic legal needs as well. I pride myself on being able to clearly explain matters to my clients so they have a good understanding of their situation. While I have developed the expertise to work on large and complicated transactions, I also enjoy helping people with straightforward matters as well. I am a singer and also enjoy reading, cross-country skiing, fishing and hunting.  I continue to be active in many community organizations and events. My wife and I live in Willmar and have three adult children.
