About Bonita Preuett-Armour

Bonita Preuett-Armour, founder of Armour Law Firm, was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1992, and has been practicing law in state and federal courts throughout Louisiana for almost 30 years. After a year spent as a judicial clerk, and several more in private practice at respected Alexandria law firms, Bonita opened the doors of Armour Law Firm in 2002.

Her goal in creating the firm, and a motivator throughout her years of practicing insurance defense and civil litigation, has simply been to help her clients and serve their best interests. Bonita knows that the individual clients she represents in insurance defense matters have probably never been named in a lawsuit before, and the prospect of being sued is very intimidating to them. She takes the time to listen to them, assuage their fears, explain the legal process and help them navigate this difficult and stressful time in their lives.

Colleagues and clients describe Bonita as a focused, determined, hard worker who puts her time, talents and resources into representing her clients. Although practicing law requires great attention to detail, Bonita never loses sight of the fact that she is working to make her clients’ lives better, and she strives to approach every case with not only tenacity and legal skill, but compassion and personal involvement.

In addition to her own practice, Bonita also serves as an Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Grant, Magistrate for the Village of Dry Prong, and Town Attorney for the Town of Montgomery.

When not hard at work on behalf of her clients, Bonita is deeply involved in her local community of Grant Parish. She has given back to her community and founded local resources, including B22Fit, LLC, B22 Rock Steady Boxing, B22 Sports Complex, Chesed House, Mended Grounds Coffee Shop, Café and Catering, LLC, Crossfit Dry Prong Strong, LLC and B22 Property Management Company, LLC. She is also a youth drama leader and teaches Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Dry Prong. Bonita also serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater New Orleans Teen Challenge, Inc. and the Grant 4-H Foundation, Inc.

Bonita also enjoys CrossFit, boot camp, running and biking, as well as spending time with her husband, Larry and her two Yorkies, Miley and Bailey.
