About Andrew Barr

Andrew F. Barr is a graduate of Southeastern University, Hammond, Louisiana where he earned in May 2007 a Bachelor of Arts, History degree and in May 2010 earned a Master of Arts, History degree. He then worked several years in state government while attending the evening program at Southern University Law Center. He received his J.D, degree in December 2015 from Southern University Law Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar on May 12, 2016. Recently he was Of Counsel to Walters, Papillion, Thomas, Cullens, LLC, concentrating his practice in workers’ compensation law.

In June 2018, Andrew joined Hammonds, Sills, Adkins & Guice, LLP as an associate in the Baton Rouge office and is handling matters on behalf of public and private employers regarding workers’ compensation claims and other defense litigation matters. He is a member of Baton Rouge Bar Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Baton Rouge Christian Counseling Center at First Presbyterian Church of Baton Rouge.
