About Mary Reilly
Ms. Reilly specializes in commercial litigation and arbitration with an emphasis on maritime and non-maritime contract disputes. She has extensive experience with charter party issues and has participated in drafting time and space charters for use in space sharing agreements among some of the major vessel operators. She also has experience in bankruptcy and estate litigation. Since joining the firm in 1987, Ms. Reilly has represented a broad range of clients including shipowners and operators, charterers, oil companies, P&I clubs, and foreign banks. In addition to trying cases in federal and state courts, she regularly handles arbitration proceedings, and is familiar with SMA, AAA, and ICC rules. On several occasions she has been appointed and has sat as an arbitrator on SMA panels. Ms. Reilly is U.S.A. Contact Person for the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA).
