About Douglas Gerrard

Douglas D. Gerrard is a Founding partner in the Firm and a resident of Henderson, Nevada. He was born in Salt Lake City, educated at Brigham Young University, University of Utah and the Brigham Young University College of Law where he was a presidential and a merit scholar.

Mr. Gerrard is a member of the Nevada and Utah State Bar Associations, the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the American Bar Association and the American Banking Institute, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the Nevada Land Title Association. Mr. Gerrard is a featured speaker on panels and seminars on title and escrow liability, bankruptcy, municipal finance and lender liability.

Mr. Gerrard has participated in the review of several Nevada general obligation and assessment bonds, and has broad experience in the area of real estate, corporate law and banking law. He has also served as a federal and private banking auditor where he reviewed bond underwriting, acquisition and warrant financing.
