About Michael Yap

Michael Yap graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law where he earned a Judicial Doctorate. Upon passing the State Bar of California, Mr. Yap began working as an applicant’s attorney at a well respected and aggressive applicant law firm in San Diego. Here, he learned how to fight and obtain maximum benefits for injured workers.

Thereafter, Mr. Yap worked as a workers’ compensation defense attorney for a national law firm where he represented third party administrators and insurance carriers in various workers’ compensation matters. This experience provided Mr. Yap with a unique understanding of the defendant’s strategies when litigating a workers’ compensation claim.
