About Abigail Rowley

As a North Shore resident, Attorney Rowley dedicates her practice to assisting clients with various family law issues, including divorce, child support, custody, alimony, domestic violence, removal, parenting issues, asset division, contempt, modification and grandparent rights. She also takes special care to stay up-to-date with the evolving nature of family law in Massachusetts, and has published several articles to this extent. Prior to founding her firm, Attorney Rowley spent several years practicing at two different boutique family law firms in the Boston area, representing clients in complex cases in the Probate and Family Courts.

Attorney Rowley graduated cum laude from Boston College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts. After attending the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C. for her first year, Attorney Rowley graduated from Boston College Law School in 2011. While at Boston College Law School Attorney Rowley interned with Greater Boston Legal Services in their housing and family law departments, providing legal assistance to many low-income families. She represented clients in the Probate and Family Court as a student attorney and graduate fellow with the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau located in Waltham. Attorney Rowley also utilized her writing abilities as an editor for the Boston College Journal of Law and Social Justice (formerly the Boston College Third World Law Journal).

Attorney Rowley is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and provides representation in the Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Worcester County Probate and Family Courts. Attorney Rowley is also certified to provide Limited Assistance Representation and volunteers through the Essex County Bar Association’s Lawyer for the Day program and the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
