About Bea Drechsler

Bea Drechsler has 30 years of experience representing clients in the real estate industry. Trained at a large international law firm, Bea brings expertise in a variety of sophisticated real estate transactions. Bea represents public and private real estate developers in acquiring and developing sites in the retail (“big box” and outlet centers) and residential (market and affordable housing) sectors. She has counseled companies and individuals in the sale of properties, including trophy buildings in New York City, a large portfolio of Manhattan parking garages, buildings for condominium conversion and a nursing and rehabilitation center.

Her clients include owners of “big box” centers in the leasing of both anchor and non-anchor stores, and in the sale of outparcels. In addition to her work representing construction lenders, Bea also advises borrowers in construction, permanent, bridge and mezzanine financing. In the hotel sector, Bea advises owners in hotel management agreements, licenses for F&B services, and leasing of restaurant and other retail spaces. She also assists managing members and passive investors in negotiating and restructuring joint venture arrangements. On the retailer side, Bea’s clients include international chains rolling out stores into the U.S. market and leasing flagship, mall and outlet store locations. Prior to establishing Drechsler & Drechsler, LLP, Bea practiced at Kaye Scholer, LLP beginning in the Fall of 1989, serving as partner from January, 1998 through December, 2006.
