About John Talbott

John C. Talbott has practiced law for 20 years, largely in the areas of commercial transactions and real estate, as well as in commercial/civil litigation on behalf of employers and insurers since he was admitted to the Bar in 1994. He began his career working at one of the largest firms in Kentucky before leaving to start his own firm, Talbott & Talbott, PLLC in 2000. In 2004, he joined the current firm as a full member and partner practicing real estate law.

He has worked on both large and small real estate transactions, including representing a developer in a recent purchase, development and construction of a 400 unit apartment complex requiring in excess of $45 million in financing, as well as residential real estate transactions. He has also represented real estate investors in complex financing arrangements involving converting mortgage debt to commercial backed mortgage security arrangements. He represents most local banks as well as some out of state lenders and is affiliated with several national title insurance agencies.
