About Ana Alexander

Ana Alexander is an attorney with 30 years’ experience, who moved to Chapel Hill with her family in 2016. She has an AV® Preeminent™ ranking by Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting achievement of the highest rating for skill, professionalism, and ethics.

Family law is Ms. Alexander’s primary focus, including child custody and support, equitable distribution, and alimony. She also handles other family matters such as domestic violence protective orders, separation agreements and prenuptial agreements. Her expertise in the law, coupled with her compassion and desire for each client to tell their story, enables her to fully understand her clients’ needs and goals. Her background in litigation also includes expertise in personal injury matters and special education law, a specialty she acquired after her son was diagnosed with autism.
